On the Brink of an International Break-Through - Ambition and Unique Focus Pays Off

MediaConcerns newly formed creative team, spearheaded by Reinout te Brake as creative director, is guiding the company rapidly into ambitious international partnerships focusing on sponsored and cross media formats. Recently released cross media formats like The Wedding Planners, Cupidos Eyes, The Interrogation, The Stake and The Swindler have drawn international interest. These formats combines feel-good TV with an edgy twist, covering upright sentiments and enabling the audience to actively participate and steer the outcome of the show. This approach seems to be highly attractive to international broadcasters and local productionhouses.

The Netherlands, September 2, 2004 -- JoJo Entertainment is to represent MediaConcern in Scandinavian territory. MediaConcern BV just reached an agreement with Finland based distributor JoJo Entertainment. JoJo Entertainment will represent MediaConcern in the Scandinavian territory and exclusively distribute its formats in Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The agreement enables MediaConcern to broaden the international exposure of her format portfolio in the northern part of Europe.

This collaboration is huge step for us in international markets. Since JoJo Entertainment is focused on creating and distributing innovative high-tech TV Formats, this deal opens new doors for both parties. Other territories are soon to be covered as well. MediaConcern has opened talks with French, Australian, Italian, UK, Spanish, Turkish and Pakistanis parties. Deals on format distribution and airing in these countries are expected to be closed successfully at the upcoming MIPCOM in October.

Concurrently, Dutch producer Blue Circle has opt for "Nosy Neighbours", a confronting and amusing scripted-reality format. Other formats are being reviewed. The timeframe and channel on which "Nosy Neighbours" will be aired are still undisclosed.

Several German broadcasters have expressed their interest in MediaConcerns The Swindler, exposing the seven sins, an edgy charity format, in which people of statue are lured into taking up a charity mission to redeem. In august MediaConcern and German producer Couch Potatoes agreed upon producing a pilot. The pilot of this provocative yet sophisticated format will be presented on the MIPCOM in October.
